In the context of UMIC B2 (HealthNet)
project, the chair of Informatik 5 offers a hiwi position of approximately 10
to 12 hours per week. The goal of the project is to build prototypes for
contextualized Peer-to-Peer information management in wearable and
environmental computing.
The tasks of the job include:
- Migrate code in J2ME to the Android platform
- Client-Server communication
- Peer to Peer messaging among smart phones
- Integration of data stream to information systems
A qualified candidate of the thesis project is expected to meet the following requirements:
- Good programming skills in Java
- Experience on mobile development is a plus
- Knowledge of Android is desired, but not mandatory
