Professor Matthias Jarke Receives Fraunhofer Medal

The Fraunhofer Board has awarded Professor Matthias Jarke the Fraunhofer Medal for outstanding contributions to the Fraunhofer Society of Applied Research. The medal was handed out by board member Dr. Alexander Kurz on the occasion of the Fraunhofer FIT curator meeting, June 22, 2012.

Professor Jarke received this award for his contributions towards the successful integration of the former GMD FIT intitute as well as the set-up of the Fraunhofer Institute Center Birlinghoven and its linkages to the neighboring universities.
