The purpose of the service is to visualize models of learning communities. The models will represent different community states, like community growth or community death.
We have a bunch of numbers and graphs describing communities and now we need a visual representation of our analysis to make it clear for non-computer scientists.
The goal of this thesis is to create a visualization service that accepts different types of entities as input and visualizes them in a model. The service can be implemented as a RESTful service and the model should be described in semi-structured language like XML.
Experiences with Java, XML, SPARQL and SQL and visualization libraries are preferred but not necessary. During this thesis you will learn information visualization techniques and how to design and implement a web service.
