The information forwarding via storytelling is a ancient concept. However, all over the centuries of development and evolution the storytelling method have not loosen its applicability in the continuously changing world. As one would expect many modification in the way how the stories production (media used) and consumption have happened. But the underlying intention to transfer knowledge and to stimulate learning - the basic idea of storytelling - has remained unaltered.

Already developed and deployed Movement Integrated Story Telling (MIST) realizes the non-linear storytelling. The process of story creation is split into a general part in which the plot is created and a detailed part in which the actual media are integrated. The detailed story structure is restricted to the MOD paradigm. Its basic idea is that every story consists of begin, middle, and end part. Each of these parts can be decomposed recursively into Central Story Units having the actual media at the leaves of the resulting tree. Based on this structure authors can define a successor relation between media which has to comply with the following general rules which ensure a reasonable story flow.

MIST

Considering the emerging ubiquity a new mobile version of non-linear storytelling has to be developed. A student should perform a thorough user-oriented design of the mobile storytelling service regarding all restriction of the mobile devices. Moreover the MOD paradigm has to be extended in the way, that the process of story creation becomes more flexible but at the same time stays well structured.
