Requirements Bazaar is an open source platform for continuous innovation by involving end users, designers, researchers and developers into the requirements collection, negotiation and prioritization processes. The website is running on and is currently used by the members of various software development communities around the world.

The current sorting functionalities allow ordering requirements according to various characteristics like number of votes, comments or followers. To see correlations between individual user requirements, we employ a methodology called Quality Function Deployment, and its particular instance, the House of Quality. The House of Quality is an established means in new product development to plan processes based on user needs. It spans up multiple matrices to co- and interrelate user requirements, technical requirements and technical & market benchmarks. The output is a prioritized list of technical features that need to be targeted in order to meet the customer requirements. Besides Requirements Bazaar, in earlier work we have already created a Web-based House of Quality that is available in the Chrome App Store and which uses collaboration features available through the Google Drive APIs. In this thesis, a conceptual design should be created that connects the output of social requirements engineering in Requirements Bazaar to the House of Quality. Finally, the concept should be implemented prototypically and evaluated within a community.

The backend of Requirements Bazaar is built on top of our solid las2peer framework for peer-to-peer based service framework. The frontend is developed using HTML5 Web Components. The House of Quality app needs to be ported to the current architecture using Web Components and the Yjs shared editing library.
