Connect existing social media networks existing in our MediaBase with the NodeXL social media network analysis project.
Social media includes a wide variety of sites and services, from twitter to youtube, flickr, to Facebook, with new services appearing regularly. Despite their differences, the common structure to all of these services is the social network.
Your task will be to develop a components that bring network data from various social media sources into the free and open NodeXL social media network analysis project. Integrate novel data sources and refine features that make network insights available to end users without coding skills. This platform will open the world of social media networks to a broad audience, allowing network analysis to be performed with about the difficulty of making a pie-chart.
Prerequisites
The applicant should have an interest in working with social media and social networks. Experience with C#, .Net, and Excel a plus.
