Web Frontend for exchange of NFT artwork

The aim of this thesis is to build a web frontend to browse, mint and exchange NFT (nonfungible token, standard ERC-721) based transactions.

In recent years, blockchain is growing rapidly and applied in many fields, such as finance, Internet of Things and supply chain. The decentralized nature of blockchain technology allows for a number of applications. A recent addition to this space is trading digital artwork based on the nonfungible token (NFT) standard ERC-721.

On March 11, 2021, the art auction house "Christie's" hosted an online auction regarding a digital artwork by the US-based artist Beeple which was traded for 42 thousand ETH, amounting to more than 60 million $ at that point. The buyer is said to be displaying the artwork in his digital museum.
The piece is called Everydays: The First 5000 Days. It’s a 500-megapixel image, which is about 300 MB in size.

To explore the space of NFT in the context of incentivisation, i.e. to allow a community to offer NFT in exchange for requested contributions, we would like to extend our existing system by an interface to exchange such tokens. The aim of this thesis is to build a web frontend to browse, mint and exchange NFT based transactions.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of various programming languages, such as Java, and Python will be fundamental.
Experience with cryptography and specific blockchain protocols, such as Hyperledger and Ethereum, will be very helpful.
Good communication skills.
