With the aim of the gamification and serious gaming, there are two recent prototypes: the first prototype is gamification framework (GF), a microservice architecture in order to extend existing Web applications with gamification features. The serious game framework (SGF) focuses on the creation of the mobile serious puzzle games in the medical domain written mainly as a PHP Web app. The goal of this master thesis is to unify both frameworks, that means, the serious game framework should be rebuilt with the help of the gamification framework. Database, Learning Analytic, Assessment System and User Administration of the serious game framework should be recreated in the gamification framework. We will also expand additional recommendation function upon the unified framework. The gamification framework will be integrated with a recommender system to provide more effective game elements for designers or more popular services. The thesis is suitable for students with interests in systems engineering and microservice architectures.
Good command of Java and Javascript.
