Transformation of Knowledge Graph Elements into Real-World Objects

December 14th, 2021

A knowledge graph is a network of semantic relations to real-world entities.
Within learning spaces, we can create these graphs automatically.
The knowledge graph entities should also represent real-world objects visually in mixed reality environments.

Within the tech4comp project, we already have tools to create such knowledge graphs from text. In this bachelor thesis, we will develop an algorithm to find suitable 3D representations of the elements of the graph.
Tools like T-MITOCAR or Readerbench can create such graphs.
The algorithm should return real-world elements for the knowledge graph entities and display them within a mixed reality environment.
This work aims to implement the described algorithm with the help of the i5 Toolkit for Mixed Reality.
