The RWTH Campuslauf 2023 kicked off the summer semester with a burst of team spirit and friendly competition. Among the many participants were Sascha Welten and Alexander Neumann, members of the i5 group, who proudly represented their team, “Eat Pasta Run Fasta,” at the event.
The RWTH Campuslauf 2023, which took place on May 5th, 2023, strongly emphasized teamwork. While individual runners were welcome, the team rankings were our competition highlight. Like the past years, a relay race consisting of four stages covering 2.3 kilometers was organized to demonstrate true team effort.
Sascha Welten and Alexander Neumann showcased their running prowess in this year’s relay, with Neumann completing his leg in 9 minutes and 54 seconds and Welten finishing in an impressive 8 minutes and 38 seconds. Their combined efforts led the “Eat Pasta Run Fasta” team to secure the 19th position out of 89 participating teams.
The i5 group’s performance at the RWTH Campuslauf 2023 displayed their physical fitness and exemplified the power of teamwork and camaraderie. As the summer semester begins, this event serves as a reminder of the importance of collaboration and unity, both on and off the track.
